I'm a senior engineer who works across the whole stack, with most of my depth in backend systems, system design and DevOps.
Most of my work is in Python with FastAPI and Django: REST APIs, database modelling, caching, and async pipelines with Celery, Redis and RabbitMQ. I also run what I build. I containerize it with Docker, deploy it to AWS, and automate releases with GitHub Actions using health checks and automatic rollbacks.
I've built gamified learning platforms, live-streaming apps with real-time chat and virtual economies, e-commerce with local payment gateways, and a warehouse management system used across India.

I led the backend and infrastructure for NobiGo, a gamified Japanese-learning app in the style of Duolingo. It is live on Android and iOS and covers JLPT levels N5–N1.
- Built REST APIs with FastAPI and async SQLAlchemy on PostgreSQL that handle high-concurrency mobile traffic with sub-200 ms typical responses.
- Designed level-based path-locking and a JLPT scoring engine with flexible 45% pass thresholds, evaluation reports and concept-level repetition tracking.
- Built a full JLPT mock-test module with timed sections, randomized question pools, a section-by-section breakdown and weak-area recommendations.
- Set up CI/CD on GitHub Actions with semantic versioning from conventional commits, multi-tag GHCR images, and zero-downtime deploys that run health checks and roll back automatically through ASG rolling updates.

- Added Celery + Redis background jobs for notifications, FFmpeg video transcoding, scheduled streaks, evaluations and onboarding pipelines.
- Designed Redis caching for trending content, leaderboards, JLPT level distributions and user state, which reduced database load.
- Built community features: text, image and video posts, groups with shared learning paths, leaderboards, streaks and retention loops.
- Containerized the full stack (FastAPI, Celery worker and beat, Postgres, Redis) and deployed it to AWS EC2 with an Elastic IP.
- Implemented JWT authentication, role-based access control, rate limiting and a subscription-tier system for premium features.
- Worked with the Flutter and design teams on API contracts, OpenAPI docs and feature specs from Figma across fast release cycles.
